Caring for your Cabinets

Do’s and Don’ts

  • DO immediately wipe up spills as quickly as possible so they won’t damage the wood
  • DO NOT use harsh detergents, ammonia, or vinegar
  • DO use a soft cloth or rag
  • DO NOT use coarse or abrasive cloths or material; especially scouring pads and scrub brushes
  • DO use soapy water. An oil soap cleaner made especially for wood components is best, but a mild detergent in warm water is acceptable
  • DO NOT use solvent cleaners, mineral spirits, turpentine or any other harsh cleaning agents
  • DO use high quality polish that is especially formulated for fine furniture
  • DO NOT use silicone based polishes or wax
  • We offer a variety of wood species to accommodate both your budget and style preference.
